Ciao a tutti! ~ Hi everybody! ~ Moi kaikille!

My name is Leonardo, a not-so-typical Italian guy living in Helsinki, Finland since 2019.

I am a Doctoral Researcher at Aalto University 🇫🇮 and a member of the Acoustics Lab. I am part of the Audio Signal Processing Research Group 🎧 where I am currently working on time-scale modification, transient modeling and audio peak reduction, supervised by Prof. Vesa Välimäki.

I studied at the University of Brescia 🇮🇹, where I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and my Master of Science in Communication Technologies and Multimedia.

When I am not busy watching movies, reading sci-fi novels or saving the world, I play for Helsinki Rugby Club 🏉 (we are now back-to-back Finnish champions!) and write songs for my bands Fuego & Shiver and EntropicaMente 🎤🎶.
